Places to go and things to do to make the most out of your October in Hudson County.

SAY A PRAYER FOR → Everyone affected by the accident at the Hoboken Terminal this past Thursday. There are also various ways you can help, such as giving blood, donating to the local shelter or just keeping those affected in your thoughts.

EAT HERE → Urban Coalhouse Pizza + Bar. Located in the heart of Hoboken at 116 14th Street, Urban Coalhouse is Hoboken’s newest hotspot. Urban Coalhouse also has locations in Red Bank, Brick, and Paramus. Their menu features pizza, specialty and artisan pies, plus pasta, wings and more, along with an extensive cocktail and craft beer selection.

GO SEE THIS → Dracula at the Mile Square Theatre. Dracula: The Journal of Jonathan Harker brings Bram Stoker’s horror story to life on stage. Starring John Keller and directed by Melissa Firlit, this production will take place October 13-30 at 1400 Clinton Street, Hoboken.

HEAD TO → Hoboken Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 22 from 11am to 3pm at Pier A Park. A great family friendly fall event featuring free activities such as: Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, Pumpkin Painting, Hayrides, a Trackless Train, Music, a Hay Maze, Face Painting, a Moonwalk, Sand Art Craft Activities, Puffy the Dragon, Balloons & more

PICK PUMPKINS HERE → Pier 13’s Pumpkin Patch. The pumpkin patch opened October 1 and is located next to the boathouse with hay bales, cornstalks, and pumpkins for sale. Head over to have a festive fall day, pick out a pumpkin, and enjoy craft beer and fun fall cocktails. Pier 13 will be open Thursday-Sunday until mid-October.
