Our experience with Darren has exceeded our expectations
We lived and began looking to buy in the Jersey City area in late March. We had reached out to other realtors in the Jersey City area but found none that understood our needs or provided the service that we were looking for. We found that we were doing all of the footwork and were not getting much help from the people that we were working with. We asked Jason’s cousin, a realtor in upstate NY, to do some research on realtors in our area and recommend someone who would be a better fit for us. Darren’s name came up and we were impressed by his credentials so we decided to give him a try. Our experience with Darren has exceeded our expectations. Darren is very dedicated to each of his clients. He is very thorough in getting to know them and understanding their needs. After gaining an understanding of our personal and financial situation Darren pointed out that most of the properties in downtown Jersey City (where we initially wanted to look) might be out of our reach. He showed us a few options in the downtown area and we understood that he was right. Then Darren suggested other nearby neighborhoods where we may be just as happy and stay within our budget. That kind of out of the box thinking and knowledge of the Jersey area helped us land a great loft in a newly renovated building in Jersey City Heights. The loft has more room than we had hoped for, was well within our budget, and only a 20 minute walk from the Hoboken PATH station ensuring that our commute to work would still be easy. He also works within his client’s schedules to the best of his ability. In addition, he keeps track of what is going on throughout the whole process so that the client need not worry that something will slip through the cracks. He provides periodic reminders so that every step of the process is completed in a timely manner. He also reaches out to all parties involved (attorneys, mortgage brokers, other realtors, etc) as needed to help move the process along. Finally, he has great contacts.
